busy. I’m looking forward to a nice date night tonight with my man and then

Provincial soccer finals for the 14 year old's team. The weather promises to be good and the parents get to go all psycho. My son is the keeper. AHHHHHH!!! No pressure.
I've got some work to do … always have that … and some family fun planned too! And, of course, Jo the puppy has kindergarten class again! That will be worth some laughs.

I actually called in to work today sick. I'm not bedridden :), but I think my body is telling me something. So hurray for getting some rest today in between bouts of outside-work productivity. I've got a writing day planned with friends tomorrow, so I'm eager to be at 100% tomorrow. 🙂
Congrats TC! Tonight we're going out to dinner with good friends to celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary. Tomorrow is a day I've been looking forward to all summer! We will be heading up to a lake cabin to spend the afternoon with friends we haven't seen in six years! It should be a fun time to catch up. We haven't met their youngest child and they haven't met our twins! Sunday my hubby sings in church and then we have an afternoon with no plans (for once!) – I'm sure we'll fill it up, but for now it is open. Good luck writing! I usually only find the time to work on my WIP waaaayyy late at night and into the wee hours of the morning, which will be coming to a close in a week when school starts and we'll all be getting up much earlier. 🙂
